Hallo

Ich habe mich registriert, aber beim Einloggen passiert immer: Nichts .... es kommt nur eine weiße Seite?! Hängt das Forum???

Hab leider im obigen Post nichts gefunden (BU*)

Bei mir klappt der LOGIN in CarcC:

• 1. Username eingeben, Password eingeben, LOGIN-Button anklicken.
  Es erscheint ein Login-Fenster: Password incorrect mit ausgefülltem Username-Feld.
  2. Nochmal Password eingeben. Auf LOGIN-Button klicken.
  Es erscheint eine leere Seite!
  3. Den "Eine Seite zurück"-Button des Browsers anklicken (von der Anzeige nicht irritieren lassen) und dann auf HOME klicken.

Dann werde ich mit "Hello ..." begrüßt!!!

Manchmal hilft selbst das nicht,
dann muß ich komplett aus dem Internet rausgehen,
also Netzwerkverbindung kappen - etwas warten - dann erneut
ins Internet - CarcC aufrufen - log in - dann klappt es (also die üblichen Probleme wie weiße Seite - Backfile-Button - Home) - "Hello..." - meistens.

I suggested to him that he should set up new forums and make the old ones read only; the community can copy over anything important. I think at this point trying to fix the old forums is hopeless. Gantry emailed me back this morning that he plans to do this tonight.

Das ist interessant:
vor ca. 40 Minuten war CarcC noch normal zu erreichen.

Jetzt ist es wohl nicht online.

Soll das heißen, dass unser Gantry wirklich am Forum arbeitet?

Almost 40 minutes before - CarcC was with the normal problems online.
Now, it's gone.

Does that mean, our Gantry is working at the Forum?

That was only hope. I can't go online at CarcC - the whole homepage and the forum was not there - now it's online - perhaps only my PC and my internet don't like to work...

The CarcC is online with the same problems.

Scott was online today.

So, der Typ von BGG hatte HiG angeschrieben und hat wohl Antworten erhalten.

Ich werde morgen Moritz Brunnhofer von HiG anrufen und fragen was er denn nun möchte, durch diesen "carcassebs" wird HiG in die "Enge" getrieben.
Ich selbst hab alles getan um HiG ruhig zu halten. Doch wahrscheinlich wird sich HiG das Problem CarcC annehmen wollen bzw. müssen.
Gantry muß sich wirklich etwas einfallen lassen, sonst weiß ich nicht, wie ich Moritz Brunnhofer vor einer Entscheidung gegen CarcC auf Dauer abhalten kann.

Aufgrund der bisherigen Auffassung von HiG soll es nur ein einziges englisch sprachiges Forum geben. CarcC ist das zentrale Forum wo auch Admins von anderen Foren aus anderen Ländern Rat und Hilfe erhalten hatten.

Ferner hat HiG über Jahre intensiv bei CarcC mitgewirkt.
Georg Wild hatte auch Matt Harper (mjharper) stets bei den Regel-Fragen geholfen. So wie er auch mir hilft.

PS: kann mir jemand mal helfen diesen langen Text ins Englische zu übersetzten?

What I personally know from Moritz Brunnhofer (HiG) is, that they prefer to have only one english speaking Forum - that is CarcassonneCentral.

What I like to have is CarcC - nothing else.
(the only other is the German Carcassonne-Forum - but that is a special one.)
And when CarcC is successful again - then I ask Moritz if CarcC become the 2nd Link at their Homepage like the German Carcassonne-Forum.

I understand that people prefer to talk in their own language. That is why I repost news from HiG on Facebook in English. Fewer communities is best; people ask the same questions and it becomes more work to share knowledge. I appreciate that Moritz agrees with this.
I emailed Gantry that we need the new forums quickly and he said they would be ready soon. I hope that soon means tonight or tomorrow.

So, ich habe mit HiG telefoniert.

Bezüglich des Falles "carcassebs" ist Hr.Fronja mein Ansprechpartner bei HiG.
Hr. Fronja hatte den Schriftverkehr mit "carcassebs" gemacht.

HiG hatte sich wirklich gewundert, warum denn jemand auf diese Idee kommt,
ein neues englisch sprachiges Forum zu eröffnen und haben sich definitiv
dagegen entschieden.

Also CarcassonneCentral bleibt.
Ich habe Hr.Fronja auch mitgeteilt, dass Gantry im Hintergrund ein neues
heiles CarcC Forum aufbaut und dass dieses neue Forum in Kürze
online geht.
