Hallo zusammen,
vor einiger Zeit hat Decar auf CarcC die Erweiterung Patron Saints - UK Games Expo 2015 eingestellt. Die Karten sind aber, wie ich finde, in ziemlich unterschiedlicher Quallität. Ist das nur bei mir, oder ist es Absicht??
Liebe Kettlefish, da Du ja auch auf CarcC Admin bist, könntest Du da mal nachfragen??

ich bin kein Admin bei CarcC - nur Moderator.
Wenn bei CarcC Mitglieder eine Fan-Erweiterung in den Download einstellen, ohne vorher diese in die Werkstatt einstellen, kann ich doch nichts machen. Auch kein anderer, denn die Fan-Erweiterung ist aus der Sichtweise des Autors "fertig".
Eigentlich sollten bei CarcC auch die Fan-Erweiterungen erst in die Werkstatt eingestellt werden, dann können die Mitglieder diskutieren und Verbesserungs-Vorschläge machen.
Was die Qualität der Karten angeht, nun nicht jeder hat so hohe Ansprüche wie wir das von unserem CarcF-Forum mittlerweile gewöhnt sind.

Konkret wurde diese Fan-Erweiterung entworfen für das Mitglieder-Treffen auf der UK Games Expo 2015.

One tile (Scotland) is much larger than the others. I found this tile from somewhere else.
The artwork I uploaded, is what I printed.

Danisthirty and I made the tiles together.
The tiles were gifts for members who attended the 'UK Games Expo 2015'.
We remember good times when we see them.

I thought they looked OK. I am not very artistic. It was quite a big job.
I am sorry you felt they were not good enough.

Hi bassdachs, Yes, I tried to find the largest tiles I could use to start. I did not have the chance to scan them.
Scotland and Ireland were a bit larger, but they are square.
I always resize my tiles before printing. Every printer seems be slightly different.
I couldn't tell a difference once printed.
I must experiment with the DPI my printer can do, given I know the size of a tile.
What resolution do you normally use before resizing?

As far as I know, many of us normally work with 300 ppi and a size of 1061x1061 or 1062x1062. These are also resolution and measurements we use for publishing the expansions online.

It is 600 dpi, not 300!
