Brickmaster92
Hello all! I'm Brickmaster92, but you can call me Brick for short. I'm located in the Atlanta area of north Georgia in the US. I've been playing Carcassonne since my first introduction to the game in 2016, but have more recently become completely addicted to these little cardboard squares and wooden people. My collection keeps growing both with official expansions (nearly complete there) as well as the beautiful Fan Expansions I have found and printed; my collection is now somewhere just over 600 tiles. I'm also a new member over on CarcC (same username); I found out about CarcF while reading through the forum over there.
When I'm not obsessing over Carcassonne, I'm building various sci-fi related things out of my vast LEGO collection while drinking whisky and jamming out to some heavy metal or other. During the day, I'm a mechanical engineer working for one of the largest car hauler manufacturers in the world.
I look forward to being a part of this community!

Hello Brick,
I greet you here in the Carcassonne addicts forum.
Heavy metal is whiskey and not mine, but LEGO is cool.

Vielen Dank für die freundliche Begrüßung! Entschuldigung, wenn ich keinen Sinn mache; Ich spreche kein Deutsch, daher muss ich mich auf Google Translate verlassen.

Hello Brick,
great that you are here. I also like whisky and heavy metal - and playing Carcassonne and other games - for now especially "Carnival of Monsters", "Dominion" and "7 Wonders".

Hi Brickmaster,

Re: Brickmaster92
Thanks for the tip Murphy! Good to see a familiar name over here, too
Good to hear I'm not the only crazy metalhead around here
I've heard of Dominion and 7 Wonders, but I haven't played either. Haven't heard of Carnival of Monsters, but it sounds pretty metal, so I'll have to check it out! Which of the three would you say is your current favorite to play? The Mrs. and I are big fans of Gamelyn Games' Tiny Epic line of games when we play something quick together, but I'm a big fan of complicated rulesets and more competitive play, myself. I've really enjoyed one from Bad Crow Games' Kickstarter for Mech Command RTS (the one time we played for an entire afternoon, about 4 or 5 scenarios with 6 people). That one has quite a lot to learn up front, but is a super fun game that could be endlessly replayable, much like with Battletech scenarios.
